ACDA and Festival Disney 2009
The Green Valley Choirs have just came back from both the American Choral Directors Association Conference in Oklahoma City as well as Festival Disney is Orlando, Florida. The GVHS Madrigal Singers received a standing ovation from the audience after their performance at the Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall for ACDA. This would be The Madrigal Singers second thing being invited to sing at the ACDA Conference.
The Madrigals Singers, Concert Choir, Bella Voce, Men's Choir, and Green NV all traveled to Orlando, Florida for the Festival Disney competition. The Madrigal Singers received 1st place and Concert Choir received 3rd. Bella Voce and Men's Choir both received Superior ratings and Green NV received an Excellent rating.
